Dear Dr. Perkins and my amazing team,
I am so grateful for your amazing team each and every one, Theresa and Kourtney. This 56 year old just finished my 2020 Ski Trip my knee is amazing. I skied 2 full days at Vail and one day at Beaver Creek. I took your advice and wore a brace, I pushed it on every run and my knee feels Amazing. Please feel free to use my story,
I love your office and recommend you to everyone and anyone..
Remember the guy who slipped on the driveway ice!

My experience with Dr. Perkins, RHO and the Orthopaedic Surgical Center was phenomenal. I was excited when I was offered outpatient surgery at a surgical center rather than a hospital. The Surgical Center (OSI) was convenient with easy parking and a fantastic care team.
I was swinging my golf training aid after about 3 weeks, went to the driving range at about 5 or 6 weeks, and was able to find time to golf several times between knees. After 6 ½ weeks I was back working full time, with minimal restrictions!

I met Dr. Perkins when it when it became apparent that I had lost much of the cartilage, particularly in the right knee, which had become “bone on bone.” He recommended a partial-knee rather than a total replacement. He said that part of the knee was “pristine” and “why replace something which is God-given that is still perfect?” In July of that year, he performed a partial replacement of the right knee and four months later, he did the same with the left. You will like his enthusiasm and energy, his professionalism and his “can do” attitude.

Dr. Perkins has performed ACL repairs on both of my knees, the first when I was 13 and the second when I was 18. Being so young and having two major surgeries was scary, but I felt so comfortable and in great hands through the entire process. Following both injuries and recoveries I returned to my sport and did great thanks to the guidance of Dr. Perkins and his team.

I lead an active life, putting my body through the extremes of Obstacle Course Racing, endurance events, and other high impact activities. Dr. Perkins provides a straight forward, honest, compassionate, and holistic approach to managing care. He will actually sit down and talk through all options, let you know the risks, and work with you on a recovery plan that will give you the best opportunity to meet your future lifestyle goals. Not only is he a fantastic surgeon (he repaired my RT shoulder and RT knee), he also offers alternatives to surgery such as Physical Therapy and PRP injections, both of which I’ve used for other injuries with great success, and no need for surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Perkins after tearing the meniscus on my left leg while running. Never having an injury of this level, I procrastinated hoping it would fix itself. After all said and done, I would have rather gone thru the surgery, than visit my dentist to have a cavity filled! I am happy to say that I am in full recovery mode (DO NOT SKIP Physical Therapy). No pain, and moving again with full motion. Dr. Perkins, and his staff cover it all!
